A fifth-generation “SLO” County resident, I was raised on the family ranch in Cambria near the Hearst Ranch. I grew up understanding that real estate was a sound investment. I purchased my first home in Shell Beach, at the age of 24; I still own that property today. Its equity growth has facilitated a number of other real estate purchases.
Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, I worked for the real estate division of Sambo’s restaurants, and also for the SLO County Department of Social Services, overseeing the Grievance/Fair Hearing processes and supervising AFDC and Foster Care cases-both jobs provided valuable experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
As a full time REALTOR®, since 1986, I have worked for large franchise companies as well as small independents. As a licensed Broker, I have done training and mentoring for several of the companies. I served as President of the Pismo Coast Association of REALTORS®, and was chosen REALTOR® of The Year following my term.
Big Brothers Big Sisters has a special place in my heart. A past Board member, I continue to do fund raising for their mentoring program and make a donation from each of my closed escrows.
I live in Arroyo Grande with my sweetheart Larry. Leisure time is spent traveling, wine tasting, discovering good new restaurants and getting away to our little cabin at Lake Nacimiento.
